You are invited to join Hardeep Singh Kohli for the fourth of his daily invitations to enjoy some ‘Tea and Biscuits’. Hardeep joins a group of dancers at a tea dance club in Bushey in Hertfordshire. About 60 dancers arrive for their afternoon’s instruction, followed by a sequence of tangos, rumbas, waltzes and foxtrots.
As the energy flags, the huge teapot swings into action, and the dancers break off for that other bonding ritual – a cup of tea and a biscuit or two, where the conversation flows and friendships are made.
