You are invited to join Hardeep Singh Kohli for the second of his daily invitations to enjoy some ‘Tea and Biscuits’. Hardeep rolls up his sleeves and joins those waiting to give blood at one of the National Blood Service Centres. The reward after giving blood is, first, a sense of having done something worthwhile with the day, but, second, the traditional restoring cup of tea and a biscuit or two.
Hardeep talks to those in the queue and finds out their different reasons for donating their blood, and then enters the area where the blood is taken. Not all goes quite according to plan, but the warming cuppa is still very welcome.
